CMTF hosts Partners Meet with Modern Cancer Hospital, China in Chattogram

The Chattogram Medical Travel Forum (CMTF) hosted a special Partners Meet with the JCI-accredited 'Modern Cancer Hospital, China' yesterday (October 12, 2025) at the Well Park Hotel in Chattogram.

M. M. Masumuzzaman, Proprietor of SEOK Healthcare and Bangladesh Medical Tourism Association (BMTA) member, attended as the Chief Guest. The Special Guests were Dr. Mohammad Asad Nawaz Mehdi, Specialist & Clinical Researcher of Modern Cancer Hospital, and Emily Sy, the hospital’s Marketing & Promotion Officer.

The program was anchored by Dawood Arman, Member Secretary of CMTF and BMTA Member, while the welcome address was delivered by Md. Abdul Alim, Convener of CMTF and also a BMTA Member.

During the technical presentation, the Chinese experts showcased the hospital’s world-class oncology technologies, major developments in China’s healthcare system, and introduced 18 advanced cancer treatment methods, including Interventional Therapy, Cryotherapy, Nanoknife, Particle Implantation and Microwave Ablation.

CMTF members who attended the event include Mohammad Imran, Omar Sharif, Alif Rahman Akhil, Iftekhar Simon, Mohammad Nurul Anwar, Ziaul Haque, Rashma Sultana, Sheikh Mohammad Afnan, Niloy Bashak, Ahmed Hasan Mahmud, Mohammad Alauddin, Mohammed Shayed Hossain and Borhan Uddin.

Also present were Zahidul Islam, News Editor of Bangladesh Television (Chattogram Centre); journalist Prabir Barua, medical tourism expert Mohammad Yusuf and Hamidul Islam, among others.

The event concluded with a lively interactive session, exchange of views and souvenirs among the guests and participants.
