MVT Summit 2026 Meet The Press

Building on the success of previous years, 'Medical Value Travel (MVT) Summit 2026'—Chattogram's largest healthcare conference—is set to be held on November 14, 2026, at The Peninsula Chattogram. The event aims to bring about a transformative shift in the port city's medical tourism and healthcare sectors and to establish an international network.
A press conference was held today (October 4, 2026) to formally present the overall significance, detailed action plan, and key outline of the summit to the media. Held in the afternoon at ‘The Pavilion’ restaurant at the city’s GEC Intersection, the event was attended by Mohammad Abdul Alim Raju, President of the Chattogram Medical Travel Forum; Alauddin Manik, General Secretary; Nurul Anwar Jibon, Vice-President; and Daud Arman, Vice-President (International Relations).
The primary objective of this mega-summit, organized under the initiative of CMTF, is to facilitate access to healthcare services at both national and international levels, exchange professional expertise, and foster collaboration between the regional health sector and international hospitals and specialists.
At the press conference, the leaders stated that a large number of patients from the Chattogram region travel to various centers—both within the country and abroad—every year for advanced medical treatment. This summit will create new opportunities to establish direct contact and bilateral relationships with renowned hospitals, physicians, and specialist organizations from home and abroad. Consequently, alongside enhancing the quality of the local healthcare system, access to international-standard services will become easier and more transparent for patients.

The organizers further stated that representatives from renowned hospitals across various countries and regions, entrepreneurs in the health sector, and medical experts will participate in the MVT Summit on November 14. The summit will feature B2B meetings, panel discussions, and special sessions on the future roadmap of the healthcare sector, playing a groundbreaking role in Chattogram's healthcare and medical tourism industries.
