The Chattogram Medical Travel Forum (CMTF) successfully organized the “Chalo Kerala” Partner Meets & Press Conference 2026 on 6 September 2026 at The Peninsula Chattogram.
The event brought together representatives from leading healthcare institutions, medical travel stakeholders, healthcare facilitators, business organizations, and members of the media to explore new opportunities for healthcare cooperation between Bangladesh and Kerala, India.
The programme featured participation from BM Hospital and Meitra Hospital, Kerala, offering an important platform for discussions on advanced healthcare services, patient referrals, medical second opinions, international patient care, and hospital-to-hospital collaboration.

The “Chalo Kerala” initiative aims to strengthen Kerala’s position as a preferred healthcare destination for international patients, particularly from Bangladesh.
During the Partner Meets, participants exchanged views on developing stronger referral networks, improving communication between healthcare institutions, facilitating patient support, and creating greater awareness about specialized medical services available in Kerala.
The event also highlighted the growing importance of Medical Value Travel (MVT) and the need for stronger collaboration among hospitals, healthcare organizations, medical travel facilitators, chambers of commerce, and industry stakeholders.
