Announcement of the Convening Committee of Chattogram Medical Travel Forum

The Convening Committee of the Chattogram Medical Travel Forum (CMTF) has been formed. On Saturday, August 30, 2025, the committee was officially announced at Pavilion Restaurant in Chattogram city.

With the consent of the forum’s advisors—Dr. Mohammad Shafiul Azam, Cardiologist at Metropolitan Hospital; Prabir Barua, English News Producer of Bangladesh Television; and Shabbir Ahmed Tamim, Chief Executive Officer of MediAider—the committee was declared with Md. Abdul Alim Raju of Global Health Care as Convenor and Dawood Arman of Prime Mediacare as Member Secretary.

The announced committee includes Borhan Uddin and Saimun Iftekhar as Joint Convenors, while Md. Imran and Niloy Bosak have been appointed as Joint Member Secretaries. Reshma Sultana will serve as Treasurer and Office Coordinator. Saiful Azam Shakil has been assigned as International Healthcare Coordinator, Md. Ziaul Haque as Domestic Healthcare Coordinator, Md. Nurul Anwar Jibon as Research & Development Coordinator, and Golam Mostafa as Education & Training Coordinator. Md. Imrul Huda will act as Information & Technology Coordinator. For Travel & Tourism Coordination, Atiq Chowdhury (Chattogram), Mir Mohammad Faisal (Cox’s Bazar), and Omar Sharif (Noakhali) have been entrusted with responsibilities. Nasir Uddin Emon has been appointed as Social Welfare Coordinator.

In addition, the following individuals have been nominated as General Members: Sheikh Mohammad Afnan, Alif Rahman Akhil, Mohiuddin Jalal Chowdhury Shifat, Md. Kamal Uddin, Anupam Barua, Rashedul Hoque, Ahmed Hasan Mahmud, Shohrab Mahamud, and Alauddin Manik.
